I hold a degree in communications from Purdue University, where I focused on public relations and advertising. While at Purdue, I honed my content creation skills through hands-on work with the university’s TV network, PeteTV, and the video production group, Boiler Productions.

As a passionate bookish content creator known as MyGayBookcase, I’ve spent the past several years attending book events locally and internationally, collaborating with authors and publishers to promote new releases like Darkhearts and Time Out. I’ve moderated live author events at local bookstores, leading interviews and audience Q&As. I previously managed the TikTok brand account for Rainbow Crate Book Box, using creative strategy to engage readers and promote featured titles.

Since 2023, I’ve served as the Social Media and Marketing Manager for Pride in Dallas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting the Dallas LGBTQ+ community. In this role, I develop and implement marketing strategies to increase visibility and engagement, manage all social media platforms with a consistent brand voice, and create high-impact content including videos, graphics, and photography to promote events and drive interaction.
